Mechanical Fitter

Programmed E&R is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter with Basic Rigging for a 2/1 FIFO Roster until the end of May with our key client.

Key Details:

• 2:1 FIFO Roster
• Until end of May with possible extension
• 12 Hour Shifts
• $70 per hour flat rate
• Day shift only

About the role:

• Providing support to the workshop clean up team and assisting with the consolidation of materials within the yard laydown areas.
• Cleanup of several lay down areas
• Building piles of scrap for Mine Site Recycling to remove from site
• Consolidating the equipment that is needed to keep on the new laydown area organized

Role Requirements:

• Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter
• High Risk Work License with rigging competency, forklift advantageous
• Working at Heights & Confined Space Entry within 2 years
• Police record within 12 months or willing to obtain
• Extensive Fixed Plant Maintenance experience in a mining environment
• Commitment to safety excellence
• Valid Drivers License & Reliable vehicle
• Physically fit & able to work respectfully in a team environment
